Accessibility Statement

CornerStoneIQ · Last updated 15 August 2026

We want every broker to be able to use this software, and every borrower to be able to send their documents.

We work to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The broker application and the client portal are the parts that matter most, and they get the most attention. This marketing site is an animated 3D experience and is the part most likely to fall short — so everything it says is also available as plain text, and nothing you need is only reachable through the animation.

If something here blocks you, email support@cornerstoneiq.ca and we will fix it or get you the information another way.

1. The standard we work to

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the level referenced by Canadian accessibility legislation, including the Accessible Canada Act and Ontario's AODA information and communications standards.

We describe ourselves as partially conformant: most of the product meets the standard, and the exceptions are listed below rather than left for you to discover.

2. What we have done

3. Where we currently fall short

Stated plainly, because a statement that claims everything is fine is not useful to anyone.

AreaLimitationAlternative available now
This marketing site It is a scroll-driven 3D scene rendered with WebGL. Screen-reader support for the animated content is limited, and it requires a browser with working hardware acceleration. Every claim on this site is plain text in the page. The application itself, the privacy policy and this statement are conventional pages.
Motion The marketing site animates as you scroll. We honour prefers-reduced-motion where we can, but the scene is inherently animated. Set "reduce motion" in your operating system, or go straight to app.cornerstoneiq.ca, which does not use scroll animation.
Uploaded documents A scanned PDF a client sends is an image. We read it, but the original file's own accessibility is not something we control. The figures we extract are presented as selectable text on the Data tab, which is usually more accessible than the source document.
Generated PDFs Compliance forms and export packages are not yet tagged PDFs, so screen-reader navigation within them is basic. The same information is available in the application interface. Tagged output is on our list.
Formal audit We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit. Our conformance claim is based on our own testing. —

4. Assistive technology we test with

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, with browser zoom to 200%, keyboard-only navigation, and the operating system's own light/dark and reduced-motion settings. Our screen-reader testing is not yet systematic, which is the main reason we do not claim full conformance.

5. Tell us if something blocks you

This is the part we actually want you to use. If any part of CornerStoneIQ is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way:

We aim to reply within five business days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you how we can get you the same result in the meantime — that is the commitment, not just the eventual fix.

6. Keeping this honest

We review this statement when we ship a significant interface change, and at least once a year. The limitations listed in section 3 are removed only when they are actually resolved.
